All Ideas Are Welcome I've always had a big problem with getting people to just magically get people to my site!

 

have you heard about SEO, try to read about it.. it can really help to get people on your site..

first you have to design your site such a way that it targets most general niche that people like to know about or people want to get update. then you need to write extremely helpful content that can attract visitors to your site...

It depends on whether you want the "amount" or "quality". If you are interested in the first one, then you should try auto-surfing. Just type "auto-surf" in Google and choose among the first sites, because they are likely to have less problems with surfing.

However, I think this is the worst way of getting qualitative visitors. In fact, none of those who visit your site will come back again. Though, your traffic will easily jump up over 500+ visitors a day.

For the qualitative visitors you should use what T.J. has written. Just don't forget that it will take some time before you will start gaining good traffic.

You could start with using social network marketing. Market using facebook and twitter for start since both sites have tons of users. SEO generates great amount of traffic to your site. Research articles about SEO and try to apply this methods to increase your web traffic.

 

My site talks about SEO, blogging and driving traffic to your site tips etc. I just started it 2 weeks agon and have only 12 articles.
Th number if people visiting it are still low. Google ha indexed my site, but they havent detected any external links to my site yet. What should I do aprt from the usual things people do in SEO?

Though I have heard about keyword research I dont know how to do it practically.
