Need help with hostname..

    Hi

    My mind is all over the place at the minute, I know this sounds retarded...

    Setting up a dedicated server for www.example.com, its asking......

    'What hostname/domain would you like to use for the server?
    ex. host.myserver.com'

    What do I put :eek:

    would it be the domain name only, the example getting me confused...

    Hostname is like the name of your server. A name which you would like to use to call your server. A hostname usually includes the domain and a prefix. It is something like prefix.domain.com
