    Hey all!

I really need some serious suggestions with my problem. I have a site with some good traffic, 900 unique per day, 8k page views.

The traffic is mainly from google (google US, CA, FR, IN, UK, UAE)

I am currently running YPN ads on this site (only for US visitors) and no ads for rest of world. Earlier this this site was running adsense ads (the original owners) which was terminated, so I think I can't run adsense ads with my account (I have wrote to google and waiting for their reply)

This site consumed 27GB of bandwidth in last month and still I am getting too low earnings :(

If I get google approval to run adsense ads on this, it would be great. What are other options you people can suggest?

All your constructive answers are highly appreciated.

He said he already uses YPN. I assume it isn't the site in your site (MBA Options). You should probably work on ad placement instead of a new program.

Is it a forum? Forums usually convert the lowest, but you could check out a CPM program.

I think it would be a lot of help if you showed us the site or at least what audience the site caters to....

....by far Adsense would likely be the most rewarding on a per click basis, but other programs may serve up more ads for your audience....alot relies on your site topic (focus) and where visitors are coming from.

If it's Entertainment, try Amazon. There also Chikita.

BTW I don't think 900 unique and 8k page views/day quite qualifies as "high traffic". :)

I imagined this coming from someone as people here have real high traffic sites, but for me this is the highest traffic site I have in my bag :)

The expenses shouldn't be that high. Maybe you are paying too much for hosting?

According to your figures, you have around 9 page views per visitor. Are these numbers correct? Again, could you tell us the url of your site? And I would like also to know the response from Google.

9 pvs/unique is probably a pictures heavy site.

so what is your CTR right now with YPN? Reason I ask; some of it may come down to placement...and some may come down to just not being a good CT related site.

Some sites do very poorly at adsense of ypn type of advertising. It may be more efficient for you to sell your ad space or use a program like clicksor which will show ads via popup for you.

personally...I would probably try a hand at selling some ad space myself and see if I can get close or exceed my target advertising revenue. With googles keywords not paying like they use to (for the most part) and the fact that you are struggling with this type of ad system...maybe the time and energy you would put trying to figure out what works could be better used selling the space. Install a free program like phpadsnew and sell the space yourself.

    thanks for your suggestions

Response from google adsense is, they say its okay to put ads on any website which compiles to adsense policies, they review each site and will let me know if that site is not appropriate for adsense.

now this is what I am planning to do

Put adsense for non-us visitors (YPN for US visitors)
Try selling adspace myself (in DP offcourse :) )

    again thanks for your feedback

    Just an update,

Since I got psuedo OK from google, I have YPN ads for US visitors and for rest of world google. The CTR on google ads is really good, thats really surprising because I never got it for YPN :( So this again underlines the importance of ad relevance.

The earnings are 0.xx (thats with 3x clicks and 6,xxx impressions) but I am consoling myself by saying that something is better than absolute nothing

    Thanks
