I'm trying to use the Google Gadget "Slim RSS Reader" on my Google Site and populate it with a Google News RSS Feed. The default is that it is populated with Google News Top Stories but I want it populated with Medical News. I have followed the instructions I found in Google's help files and on other sites to search Google News for my desired subject, click the RSS link at the bottom of the page, and use that page's URL as the feed to my Slim RSS Reader. For instance I am using: https://news.google.com/news/feeds?hl=en&safe=off&gl=us&q=medical&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&bvm=bv.1355534169,d.eWU&bpcl=40096503&biw=1582&bih=757&um=1&ie=UTF-8&output=rss However, I am still getting Top Stories. I have also tried the same thing with "sports", I still only get top stories. I have tried changing the url to http: all with no avail. Any help?
