Need Help with Godaddy

    i bought a domain that came with free hosting, however how do i transfer one domain from one hosting to another plan that i got. I know it might be basic to someone bt its my first attempt.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    The problem with Godaddy, which I just discovered yesterday, is they won;t provide nameservers if your domain is hosted elsewhere. Every other domain registrar will do so but not them.

    What you need from your new host is the nameserver information. You'll have to ask them for that.

    it also take like 1 to 12 hours to do a dns update. some time it fast

    Depends on the extension. Actually for a dot com (and the other major ones) it takes 5 minutes now. Been that way for years.
