Hello everyone, I have recently upgraded a old computer. It currently has 512mb RAM, Pentium 4 processor (2.8ghz) and a MSI RX2600PRO-T2D256Z/D2 Graphics card (256mb). Now the problem here, is that when i go to device manager it shows a yellow exclamation mark on video controller. I know the model of the graphics card, and i downloaded all sorts of drivers online but the exclamation mark wont leave. So, i need help finding the right driver(s), if you need any more information let me know. Thanks.
If Device Manager won't help, use a driver update software like DriverGenius, you can even backup your drivers, get any drivers online automatically.
you should install drivers from the maker of the chip (ATI) http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
*Update driver won't do anything, and i already tried that. *@Zodiac I did that, selected OS, etc, downloaded the file, and it won't do anything. It installs the catalyst manager, but won't do anything useful to my drivers. Really annoying. *I also have a yellow exclamation mark on Multimedia Audio Controller.
Alright, I managed to fix it, turns out you have to download a Hotfix. I haven't actually tested the video card with a game yet, but it appears to be installed correctly.
