ok, I been doing websites for quite some time but never bothered with RSS since I don't do blogs. Now that times have changed and I decided to add RSS feed to one of my normal website. Normal as in, it is not a blog. just a regular website. so how do I add RSS to it? I tried reading online tutorials but it is too hard to understand. they keep talking about blogs and what RSS stands for and I had no idea what are they trying to say. so please help me by explaining how to add a RSS feed to a normal website. I am sure its possible but harder. I uploaded a feed.xml with the following:

My Website

Welcome to my website.

The New Article: Blah

This articles talks about...

HTML: so thats all to it? I add a feedburner subscription box to my website. it is the "Email when website is updated" service they had. so if theres a change in my RSS feed, they will email my subscribers about the updates and ask them to visit my site to see the new content. I tried it but had no emails send to my inbox (I subscribe myself to test it). how does all these work? would appreciate help here.
