    Its Directory MOZilla or the ODP (Open Directory Project). Its little more then an over-hyped free directory. If you are submitting to free directories, add this on to the list, if not, don't.


    Many editors will tell you it's not a service at all, and many people that have suggested sites will go so far as to tell you it's a dis-service. Though you are correct. According to the ADD page that you must read before suggesting a site, it does say it's a service. Then again, it also says that the directory team loves comments and feedback, but lol... they certainly don't bother with a means to do so, so *shrug*

    Some editors and suggesters may disagree with the second part of your post as well, as there are several 3rd party services that will submit your site for a price (some of these 3rd party services are even ran by editors!), and according to places like scriptlance even list it for a fee!
