Share with the whole class... Its really easy, just post a link somewhere. Search engines worthy of being used these days spider sites for links, and in the case of the ODP, submission is free and in many cases not even needed. The suggestion pool is an optional tool for the editors, many do not bother with it in favor of other methods (like search engines that do not need to be submitted too).
That has nothing to do with it... there are other free services out there that are very prompt, and those doing the helping are actually helpful. It takes forever because they do not have enough help, and the help they do have likes to spend time in sites like this defending every other flaw they have.
Don't worry about ODP. Matt Cutts did a video on how links from there aren't as important these days.
There is no real evidence of that anymore... while it certainly USED to be the case, it just no longer is.
How do you come to this conclusion ? You click on the submission link, you answer the questions and then you submit it. Now that doesnt seem so hard to me and in fact probably in excess of 10 million people have submitted prior to you........they didnt seem to find it complicated.
its not hard to submit, but its takes take to approve if ever it will be approve. So, does it worth to do?! does DMOZ worth it?
It's not worth the 2 minutes it takes to submit a site. I haven't submitted any website to DMOZ for 6 or 7 years. I'd rather take cheap pot shots at the DMOZsaur in this forum, it's a more productive use of my time.
