Need help with CS3 problem

    When I'm using an Elliptical marquee tool or Rounded rectangle the edges are fading and not sharp. How do I fix that?

    Easy ! just set FEATHER in toolbar to 0px .

    but then I can't play with the external shape - if I want the corners less or more rounded. The feather is the parameter that does that...

    nope ! feather is the parameter for blurry effects at edges of image. It doesn't set the corners !
