Need Help with Browser Compatibility & Coding Errors

I'm okay with my current design and it seems to display correctly on my browsers (Camino, Safari, and Firefox on Mac), but users have been reporting on certain browsers (Internet Explorer 6, 8 etc.) menus are out of place and etc. I used browsershots.org and none of it looked right.

The site is http://dbthemovie.com. I didn't code/create the theme but it is custom made.

Wondering if anyone can help and confirm it not displaying correctly (menus out of place and so on).

To be honest, it's a bit of a mess: validator.w3.org put your web address in and see

Strongly suggest you fix these errors and then see if that fixes things for you?

Some of your div's are not closed, which means you are missing some closing divs (</div) or have too many open divs in your code.

Is that causing menus to be out of place?

Send me a PM if anyone can give me a quote on how much it would cost to fix these validation errors etc.
