Hi I have sucessfully integrated a blog template into my static html template, you can see it here. The only problem i have is with the meta tags. I have been using the auto meta tag plugin for wordpress which automatically inserts the meta tags when a post is published. It does this with this with php code. My problem is that i now have two sets of meta tags, one in the static html template and one wrapped inside the blog template. The auto meta tags are still working in the blog template but they are now inside the body tags. How do i get the auto meta tag plugin to insert them inside the static html template and not the blog template. Sorry if this doesn't make complete sense i'm still learning. Thanks Zander
Zander, why don't you just take the meta tags out of the static html template, and keep the auto tags in? Also, I'm not sure if you've finished the blog, but seems to have a few styling problems in firefox.
Do'h. Thanks for the heads up on firefox, still needs tweaking. I tried that but i can't edit the templete for each post, it's a default one that just wraps around the blog. Besides the auto meta tags inserted into the blog are nested inside the body tag and not recognised by search engines.
