need help with AVATAR

    hi guys
    I'm trying to put up a new avatar but I keep getting this message saying
    You may not upload animated images. but its a real photo any helpers ?

    I know you're not allowed animated avatars, but I don't know about formats.

    You're allowed to upload gif or jpg, as long as it's not animated or over 19kb in size.

    if its not an animated gif and still you are getting the message then simply convert it to Jpg and upload again...

    you can even do that in MS Paint
