Need help with AdSense text on BlogSpot

I recently started up my own blog, and I've just incorporated AdSense.

I'm trying to keep a neat, clean look by making the AdSense text follow the same color scheme as my blog. However, whenever I enter the same color values, for some reason, the blue text for the AdSense always ends up being a lighter shade, even though the color code is the same.

My blog is www. fretworld .blogspot .com (without the spaces obviously)

What gives? Any help is MUCH appreciated!

I can't post the actual live URL, since I'm a new member. Here it is again:

Your bog is too new. I don't think that putting Adsense now is a good solution to earn. Try to write more.

I realize that, but that's not my issue right now.

Regardless of how old it is, the text color of the ads doesn't match the text color of the blog, even though the hex codes are the exact same. I'm wondering how I can repair this problem.

OK, apparently AdSense has this auto adjustment where it makes sure there is sufficient contrast to your background. However, this is pain when using my black background, as most colors I picked for the AdSense resort to a pastel version. For example, I can't even use basic red as my text color without it turning pink, even though it would be sufficient contrast for most people.

Looks like I'll have to rethink my color scheme...

Go to your blogspot edit layout page and look for fonts and colors. On the page, you can see the color codes in 6 digit use for the whole page. Just copy it and apply when you setup your adsense ads. I hope this is clear to you.

Thanks for the help. I'll experiment with ad placement. After all, it's a brand new blog, so I don't want to go overboard at all.

That was my problem. Even though I entered the same color hex codes for both the Blogger text and the AdSense text, the two colors were different. But apparently, AdSense automatically adjusts the color of its text if it deems there isn't enough contrast.
