i want to render a clip from my cam recorder(canon fs100) the source of clips is in pal format at the time of exporting which type of extentition should i use? to dont loose quality and well i wana see my whole clip after rendering on my dvd player i rendered different different extentition such as mpeg and mpeg2 but after burning on nero(burn as data file) could not manage to see the clip on my dvd player i tried to burn with converting to video but nero does not accept m2v files to convert to video can some one help me to choose witch type of extentition and which codecs should i use ? i dont want to loose the quality
With premier export the movie as a microsoft avi, you can choose uncompressed if you want high quality. Now write it to DVD using windows DVD Maker drag and drop the avi file into the window hit next select a menu type and burn. If you dont have Windows DVD maker, I would guess the problem maybe that you are burning a data disk when you should be burning a video disk. Windows DVD maker converts the avi to Vob files for you and this should work in your DVD player. If it doesn't work the problem is probably with your DVD player as I do this about 4 times a week. Problems that you may have with your DVD player are that it does not recognise the format of the DVD you have written. DVD formats are: R+ R- RW+ RW- Your DVD player should say on the front what format it is compatible with. Modern DVD players tend to except more formats.
