There is a virus on my main computer called Winlogon. If anybody knows how to get rid of it or fix the problem, that would be amazing.

    Thanks!

Install AVG or Avast , then do a system scan to rid your computer of viruses.

first boot into safe mode, then run antivirus software. Malewarebytes and rkill will get rid of just about anything.

Winlogon is not a virus in itself, it is an essential process for Windows to run correctly. Although, if the process was somehow infected, you can try scanning with antivirus/anti-malware software, but the safest best is to back up your files and reinstall Windows. Once your core system processes become infected, unless you're a really advanced user there is no way to tell how far the damage has spread.

Use anti-virus software to scan your computer, Norton ,AVG and anti-spyware is OK.

Format, nuke/erase, and reinstall your OS. It's the only solution.

Using an install that has been infected and 'cleaned' is like wearing pants that you've pooed in. It might look clean, but you know it's not.

You always use a restore point first! this is by far the most powerfull yet least utilized windows system/registry protection.
also, repair installs don't destroy data and i have rarely had to make clean installs to make a pc functional again.

I use this solution too, and it work for me.
But, Dose you can't log on to you computer right?
So when log on to safe mode try to change password too, before restart your computer.

My best guess is that avast would do the trick and hel you to get rid of that virus.
But kaspersky 2010 is awesome and you should use it regulary.
