Need help with a memory card, need to get the data from it

    My freind gave me her memory card, its a 8GB SD Card that she used in her new camera. Somehow, for some reason her other freind wanted to look at the pictures and stuck it in in a different camera, now the card doesnt work.

    When i try to read it on my computer it says the card needs to be reformatted.

    Is there any way i could save the data? maybe theres some programs out there?

    Format that card and recover the data afterwards using any data recovery... The one kerosene suggested seems good but make sure you use a software dedicated to flash card recovery...
