Looking to streamline a personal finance site, make it more community and user friendly. What can I add, take out, do to improve, look, feel, etc. Constructive criticism welcome. Help me out digitalheads. http://howtomakeamilliondollars.blogspot.com What to break into the top 300,000 in alexa rankings
You've got a nice theme. Overall, I rate it 7 out of 10. Why not have your own domain? Than would be better. Good luck!
There is a bit of a disconnect on the whole idea for me - your site is how to make a million like a million other sites with this feel. It is hosted on a free blogspot domain and filled with adsense ads that you earn a couple cents per click. It seems pretty obvious that you are no millionaire so what do you know on the subject of how to become one? There is just no credibility to the whole thing imo...
You need to tweak the design a bit, remove some of the google adsense links on the top right. Make a search button, and make it a prominent part of your site. Otherwise great work
Another man desperate for money is the first thought that brushes our minds when we open your website. The left side bar completely filled with google ads, google ads under your huge header, and then ANOTHER ad, banner ad placed underneath the google ads again. The only actual real content I get to see before I have to scroll is: "Does Google have a monopoly on online advertising?" Followed up by a bunch of other questions. It's apparent that this is a part of your blog, but it doesn't give us a good first impression. What I want to know is: how do I make a million dollars?? So I scroll down your site and I'm thinking, why is it necessary to use the "enter" button five times between each sentence? Is he trying to make it look like his website is filled with lot's of important information by making us scroll for hours or is it just to show off the awesome white background? Then looking further I realize that almost all your blog entries includes links to other sites/blogs. It makes me wonder, do you actually create any content yourself? The links make me get the feel of even more advertising, might be just me. And suddenly when I'm thinking about how all these ads piss me off the whole page gets "redirected" and an ad is shown over the entire page, and I have to press "skip this ad" like if it was some kind of freaking auto surf engine. And I ask myself what happened to internet like it used to be?? It seems like you have no clue how to make a million dollars, and if you really do I would say make us some content and don't link up your whole page to others work. At the moment I see no reason to replace google with your blog. If you want to make money you can't push tons of advertisements at people, because they WON'T come back. Make some real content, make people want to come back to read more. It has to be interesting! And THEN when you have a steady base you can place a few ads. Hopefully some constructive critic here for you. Good luck
this might be a little obvious, but it is not even your site is it? It is blogspot.com, which is there site. in reality, it is just your profile for blogs?
