I did a backlink analysis to see what backlinks my link builder consultant has been doing on my site. I see that there are quite a few of these one-way links. I know this is probably a simple question to answer, but how does someone manage to find these links and be able to get links from them? I mean, I am so used to doing reciprocal link building where I would send an email to a site and ask them to link to me in exchange for me linking to them. The link builder seems to be entirely generating one-way links from links like the one above. I'd like to be able to do this one my own rather than pay someone to do it but I don't know where to start.
Ok, I removed the link..Hopefully, my point will still come across w/ the type of link I was referring to.
If your question was genuine it did not come across as such. The url you reference as a sample of a page that is linking to you has no outbound links on it and looks like it's made for AdSense.
Ok, so my question was how does my site manage to get backlinks (not adsense links) from sites like this? My link builder says they are search engine friendly directories but I don't see any method on these sites to where I can contact the webmaster to submit my URL. Sorry for my ignorance, I'm still fairly new at link building but trying to understand the different types of links out there. I spent a few months doing reciprocal linking that got my absolutely nowhere with the search engines, and then I hired a link builder that did all one-ways links that managed to pull my rankings up. I'm paying the person quite a bit of money to do this and I'm wondering if I can do it myself.
