I built a website for a costumer. It's sort of a price suggestion system. The user fills his details to get price suggestions for a specific product, the information is being sent to 5 different businesses registered to that product. then those businesses are contacting the user and offering him their price for that product. The site includes user registration, users for businesses, articles, content management, all the requests and details are being saved in the database for statistics and much more... I designed the website, programmed it, uploaded it, created the management panel and all that so everything is ready and the costumer doesn't need me any more because he can control everything threw the management panel. how much do you think i should take for that work? thanks, and sorry for my English.
Depend on who your client is, you may expect hire charge if the customer is a larger corporate. But if it is the customer is a smaller corporation you may expect a bargain from them.
the costumer is a freelancer who opens the site as a business. is it impossible estimating the value of the work?
One of the method is to check your total hours spent for this project, then times with a factor that equivalent to to your value per hour. You'll get a reasonable amount to be charged.
It seems that it's not bad,but a little difficult to evaluate the value just by what you said.I think you can refer to the pricing of some special web designing companys'.
Depends on how many hours you have put in and then adjust your price accordingly to what the customer is willing to pay. Anyway, you could also check out the market rate what others are getting paid for that kind of work.
It would be a better if you can shown your portfolio here so that we can evaluate it the price. The standard pricing for these kind of website is around $800 ~ $1000 in the market.
