Hi All, i need to start a forum for mobile phone, but dont have any idea about programming or mySQL database, how should i start one please let me know or what are step in creating one
You don't really need any programming knowledge to start a forum...All you need to do is know how to read instructions The more you know, the better, but I think it is best to learn from experience...Do lots of research, ask questions, and try it out yourself. Forums these days are tough to run successfully though (attracting and maintaining members), so if you don't have a lot of time or $$, forums are not for you.
You can purchase scripts or get free forum scripts if you search the web. phpBB seems the most commonly used free script, which I personally don't like, and vbulletin is most probably the best purchased script which I personally like.
If you want a forum that is hosted for free just find a free hosting provider, if you want to have a paid forum hosted, you need a host, domain, and a software. phpBB software is free.
