    Hi Jattboyz,

Are you trying to setup something like ns1.yourdomain.com & ns2.yourdomain.com so that you can point your domain to those?

If yes, there are two parts:

    1. In your WHM, you would use the Edit DNS Zone tool to open your domain's zone file => you add 2 A records:

    ns1 14400 IN A IP_for_ns1
    ns2 14400 IN A IP_for_ns2

Replace IP_for_ns1/ns2 with the correct IPs.

    2. Once you got the A records added, you would then go to your domain registrar and register your own name servers. Make sure to note that this step is not the same as changing the name servers for your domain.

Name servers registration is free and you do this some where inside your domain manager. If you can not find a way to register your name servers in your domain manager, you would contact your domain registrar for help.

    Hope this helps!

    Adding to HRG-Tina's good advice,

Please also allow few days depnding on your server locations and domain registrar location to allow all IP registrations and namesever registrations (at your domain registrar) to fully propagate.

Sometimes you may have to wait even longer! Be patient as well.
