    Hello,

I got my own dedicated server but I have some problems.
My Server comes with 3 IP numbers.

I registered my domain at godaddy.

I logged in GoDaddy and I did as follow:

    1) I clicked on the part you see in the picture below and i set the ns1.mydomain.com with the first IP i get from the server company. Is it right? Should I set ns2.mydomain.com pointing to my second IP from here? Same for the third IP?

    2) Then I clicked on "Total DNS Control and MX Records" (As showed below)
I modified the A (Host) on up and i pointed it to my main server IP (the first). Should I modify the other records (CNAMES, MX, SRV, AAAA, ecc.)?
Since secureserver.net is GoDaddy server.....is it enough if I change it with mydomain.com in place of secureserver.net?

Thanks in advance for your help

Firstly, the above GoDaddy interface sucks. It is clumsy and not very powerful. However, it would still be better than trying to run your own DNS, if you're not entirely familiar with the concept. There is no need to create a name server (such as ns1.mydomain.com or ns2.mydomain.com) in that case.

The 2 IPs you have are for use by your web server so you can assign those under the "Total DNS Control and MX Records" interface. Just add one of your IPs under the hostnames you will be using, such as "www", "webmail", "web".

The MX record is where your email will end up so set it to the IP of wherever your mail server is hosted. Don't worry about the rest of the records and better leave them at the default value.
