Hello All, In my ppc campaign all my keywords are having POOR quality score Even the new keywords i add also get Poor Quality score. Please help me to improve my quality score.
Have a search on here for posts on Quality Score (I've done some good ones, but I'll just be repeating myself). One thing though, are all your KWs on QS1? (You say Poor, but it's a rating of 1 - 10, to check if you're in the old interface hover your mouse over the magnifying glass, on the new interface customise your columns to include Quality Score) If they're all on 1 and you can't improve then the odds are you're a 'victim' of the Google slap - which could be any number of things, but most likely you're an affiliate site- which Google doesn't like
Yes most likely its your landing page that google does not like. They stress that we (affs) create relevant and original content
Just to add to what JH and v have said - another reason why keywords can get a bad keyword score as soon as they are added, is because google is evaluating them on how they have performed in the past for other advertisers - it may be that you are choosing keywords that historically perform badly for everybody.
No all my keywords are having Q.S 2 or 3 with Poor. Please suggest what should I do my site is Diggingforprofits.com
The poor quality score keywords will lower the quality score of those keywords that may have high quality score. You need to test and find the high quality score keywords and and create a list for those high quality score words, then open a new account and start use those high QS words.
Is that actually your site or one that a lot of affiliates use? If it's not yours then it may be to do with another affiliate already using that url - which would lead to your ads not working at all. Otherwise, it's because you're probably directing through to your home page, you need to: create landing pages targeted to each ad group, which have good quality unique content, and optimised for the KWs in that ad group. Also, put the KWs in your metatags and use your best performing ad text in the meta description (minor points there but still useful) That'll probably sort your problems out. The other thing it could be (in most non-affiliate cases it is this) is your ctr: split your KWs into tight ad groups - say one to ten KWs per group. Write a couple of ads per ad group, targeted to those keywords and split test. Then take the best performing ad and apply it. This should increase your CTR, which should lead to better QS
Getting a good Google quality score is important to lower the minimum bid price for your keywords on your Google AdWords campaigns. The quality score ranges from 1 to 10, where 10 is best. I think it’s not absolutely necessary to get a quality score of 9 or 10 for all of your keywords, but you should aim to get a quality score of at least 7 or 8 for most of your keywords. How does Google actually calculate the quality score for your keywords? Well there are many different factors that determine your quality score and only Google knows the exact rules. Good Luck
