    Hi,
    Folks!
I've booked 5 of my domains to a registar that now sounds me like a scammer, they taken my friend's domains and canceled and deleted his a/c details.
My all domains at that registar are locked and protected via whois. I just unlock them and when i tried to keep the whois free, it start saying that my a/c pass or username is invalid, however i am able to logged in back again and again.
Anyways, I just taken the EPP (authentication code), unlock the domains and paid to name.com for the domain trafer. I have received an e-mail from my old registar that i cannot trasfer the domains as i tried to free the whois option and they need a FAX about my details.(I don't wanna communicate with those scammers).
I want a help to know, is name.com able to change the registar from previous to itself.
I can see the registar changing process looks like at stage 4, don't understand what exactly they mean by 4.
Please help me knowing what should i do? Or name.com is able to trasfer since i provided EPP code. My loads of investment are there with those domains and too scared.
    Thanks!

I had transferred one of my domain to Name.com but I repented later. I own the domain but after transferring it to name.com , it felt as if the domain belongs to name.com as they were applying their unscrupulous rules which I hate.
So then, I waited for 3 months and transferred it to DomainHouse.in
Now I am happy with their service and I also got 1 GB Webspace free from them.

    Thanks Samuel for your answer!
not sure, but maybe you're talking about the Whois privacy from name.com or it could be whatever you said above. Either the way i'm happy if the domain belongs to me after successful transfer.

transaction has to be approved or denied by current registrar within 5 days, if the current registrar does not approve, name.com can't do anything about it
if they took your domains hostage, you should complain to ICANN

Yes file a complaint with ICANN. Is your old registrar ICANN accredited?

    Hi,
    Nathan and atxsurf!
Yes, My old registar is ICANN. I just found that my old registar has deleted my account. I am unable to login into my account . I'm afraid if i am going to lost my all efforts and hard work. i will file complain to ICANN, for sure. Just want to wait for 24 more hours. It's been already 7 days since i tried transferring my domains to Name.com. Lets see?
