need help to get better rankings & traffic

Hi,

We have a site (www.ukonlinemarket.co.uk) in php with dynamic url’s and contents. My site has all the resources like article section, blog, forums. We are not able to know why we are lagging behind in traffic. Can any one tell me how to improve traffic in such a scenario?

Is it important to do URL rewriting for such a pages or can we continue in the present state with the current pages. I will put one more question to all that which one among php, asp, aspx does perform the Google.

We have 18 categories in our site and all the categories have not a separate landing page. Will it be feasible to get good rankings in such a situation?

I would suggest using a keyword research tool like Nichbot 2.0 to find the best keywords to use for each one of your webpages.
Then, use a search engine optimization tool like IBP-9, to optimize each webpage for the keywords you decided on using.

You can rewrite the URL's to static ones. That will help in better indexing.
Some of your forum boards have empty <title> tags. It will be useful to fill these for seo purposes.

And you can do equally good without these many keywords in meta keywords tag...

You should have static sites so it wont be confusing for the visitors to visit.. and also in your category pages make it static.. and it will be feasible for a traffic and Rankings..

set your target keywords if possible make separate folders ( category wise i.e. mobile phones, gifts, gen shopping and so on ) it must be like ukonlinemarket.co.uk/insurance/cashback/bline.........

check you competitor ( age + backlinks )
do some paid submission

In order to be found you need links to your site.
But, sorry to say this, currently you will not get too many people linking to your site for free. I mean: what is it you have to offer me, as a consumer?

The site just doesn't look good, has no focus and no clear purpose, as far as I can tell.

 

Get listed in all of the best directories and optimize!

 

we have done directory submission and waiting for Google update those links

 

Create articles related to your site and submit it to article submission site

 

dont wai for google update coz it means nothing as google constantly updates its database and any effect of those new back links should show up in a few days some times hours if its a link from a very important page.

keep submitting to more free directories and dont go for PR go for links on pages which ranks well for your keywords coz thats what is going to bring in traffic for you in the short and long run.

search for your keyword on google and look for blog posts which rank well and start leaving (good genuine) comments on those blog posts and see your own pages jump the que very fast.

If you want more people to come to your website, you have to make sure you have good content and make sure you update often so people would return often. There are 2 parts to that question, is more like, how do you get a bunch of people to check out your website and what do you do to try to make them come back for more. Once you have figure out those things for your website then its just execution from there. Good LUck.

 

Sure, promote your products on your own blog. But do not include numerous links to your website from the blog.
