Hi all I am a web designer, currntly I have some free time, so I was thinking to deveop a content rich and graphic rich html website. and hope to earn some money with adsense as well lol but I dont know which niche to pick, can some1 pls. help me in finding a good decent niche thanking you
The trouble is everyone is looking for a unique niche and when they find that special niche they are going to keep it to themselves are they not !!!
Pick something your interested in, if it doesnt interest you there are good chances it wont go too far.... Also the saying if you build it they will come isnt true. You will have to promote the heck out of your site, its not just as easy as building a site and walking away... good luck though
Niche is not to be looked or to be searched.. Everyone of us has our own interest so why don't we follow it? Having a good niche but has a less expertise and motivation is a waste of time.
I come up with ideas for niches when I search for some information on Google or Yahoo Search and have a hard time finding what I'm looking for in one place. Then I do the work of gathering the information and make it into a website. For example if you always wanted a Corvette and finally had the money to buy one then you went online to see if there were any Corvette Clubs or places to buy vintage parts and you found there was no central site that listed Corvette Clubs or classic car dealers you might want to create a site centered around this. You could do the work of digging deep into the web and finding the different organizations that exist and putting them in an easy format to locate, by state or city, so people could find one in their area (strategically inserting google ads with the listings). Then you could set up a forum for other Corvette enthusiasts to keep people coming back to the site and write articles about your experiences or post links to information about Corvettes.. Anyway, the main thing is to keep your eyes open for something that frustrates you about searching on the web. Chances are there are other people with similar interests who are not satisfied with the sites out there either.
I like to find niches by going to general directories and searching through main catergories to find small sub categories.
Whaever you find, it is useless if you are not used to like or do it... Best niches are those related to what you are doing or what you really like... Selecting mesothelioma just because it pays better (not anymore) is no sense if you know nothing about it...
How about looking at other people frustrating problem and provide a solution to it? Also, learning from other successful sites ... it is basically sucess leaves traces!
People are always looking for ways to improve their websites. They always need help with forms, Flash, HTML tips, SEO and if you are good with graphics make some navigation and email buttons etc.
