I don't use joomla, but I am attempting to answer the question since no one else has offered you any aid. You should be able to embed an iframe anywhere you can place html markup. If you can place this tag <h2>Look</h2> and the word look is big and bold you can place an iframe there. I would be a little surprised if you could only place iframe data in the iframe plugin using joomla.
