Need help, some mess with my inbox

Dear moderators, if this is a wrong category, I am sorry, please move it to respected category. I didn't understood where I can ask this question, so I am writing here.

There is some mess with my inbox. I got a message and when I want to see it, I am unable to see by giving the following message.

Invalid Private Message specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

But I have got a message as a pop-up saying :

You have a new private message.

Sender: bestdomainseller
Title: 'Payment Returned'

Click OK to view it, or cancel to hide this prompt.

The other problem is one of my inbox message is not getting deleted and hence I am always getting a pop-up saying 1 message unread.

Please help me with this.

I've been getting emails with new private messages, but they aren't showing in my account.. and its been several hours still?

i receive private messages notification via my email, but there is nothing in the Inbox of DP. i have less than 1000 messages in my inbox.
also, i tried to delete some old messages, but it didn't work
any suggestions?

I keep getting PM in my e-mail, but when I log into DP to reply they don't show up... Anyone else having problems like this?

I can get Pop Ups as that
New Private Message is there but when i open it only old messages arrived as unread (though i have already read it) but new messages are not showing in it...

When i tried to delete the messages they were still there without deletion...
Tried to empty the folders also but nothing happened

Don't what problem is happening please help me...

Is anyone having problems receiving PM's? I get an email notification with all the contents of the PM but when I go to the PM box it doesnt show any new messages.

Anyone have any guesses as to why?

 

This is quite annoying!
This morning(india) I had a PM from one of the DP member, I read it and voila when I returned back to the home page the popup came telling me about new message. I went to my inbox and discovered that it was that same message(unread) in bolds.
I read it again and started browsing but no luck it is always unread. Whether I open a new thread, forum or new page in forums, that nasty pop-up comes again and again.
As if its my punishment to read that same message 1000 times.


I am not deleting the message, for admins to check in whats the problem.

 

No matter how many times I uncheck "Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up", it is always checked again next time I go to options.

I had it deactivated for a year or longer and suddenly it's come back to life with a vengeance in the past few days. It's such an incredibly annoying "feature", is there any way I can get rid of it? 95% of the PMs I receive are spam.

 

Problem with the database/site. It's fixed now I think.

 

Thanks - I tried it just 5 minutes before posting and it still wasn't working, but now miraculously it is. I suppose this thread can be closed. Though I'd like to reiterate one more time how much I loathe and despise the popup feature, in case anyone cares.

 

I'm facing the same scenario.

Please be patient. Read other threads before creating your own, the moderators can't attend to each member with the same question. This question has been answered a hundred times now.
