I use adsense for my online game. When logged out www.planet-zorg.co.uk it show ads relevant to gaming.

However, when logged in to the game, there is little content or links to allow google to show decent ads. What can i do to point mr google in the right direction. at the moment it is showing pointless ads in a foreign language. please help!

    Mike

I don't know, but your site seems to be down at the moment.

If you can, try to add some more content with relevant keywords in phrase that makes sense. If you will still then see irrelevant ads, use the Filter to filter those sites which you would not like to see them again on your ads. Note: don't click your ads, just see the URL from the ads and type them in a different URL (in case you wanna check if they are relevant or no)

    • Add some content
    • Add meta tags related to the subject
    • Use ad-targeting

If the ads are showing in the wrong language make sure that the language specified in your HTML is correct. If it is you can email Adsense support and they will send you a bit of text that you can insert into your Adsense code that will force the ads to display in the correct language.

how do i use ad targeting.

on the homepage i have a description of my site, so the ads are relevent.

i cant add keywords to the logged in pages....there is no place for it.

i tried adding some in a hidden div, but maybe google doesnt like that...

I find adsense never fails to provide relevant ads unless they don't have it in their inventory, which is extremely rare.

That means their list of advertisers that advertise with them. The more advertisers with varying subjects in Google's "inventory", the better the chances that there will be ads to match the content of your site.
