    Hi

This is the first time I am selling a domain name on Digitalpoint and I would appreciate if someone could please guide me as to how to transfer my domain name to the buyer and also what payment method to use. My domain is registered with NameCheap.

    Many Thanks

    Hi

    1) Where have you registered your domain?
    2) When was it registered / when is it expiring? (Many registrars do not allow transfers within 60 days of registering; some don't allow transfers in the last week / two).
    3) Are you transferring the domain to another registrar? Or are you pushing the domain to another user within the same registrar?
    4) How are you selling it? On a forum? Using a site like sedo?

In general - if your domain is not locked by the registrar, you can transfer it to another registrar.
Most cases, you can push to another account even within the restricted period. You may need the buyer's account name / email in order to push the account.

Most DP transactions use paypal; some use alertpay or other such payment accounts.

I would suggest you use western union coz there is huge risk when selling digital product using paypal.
For how to transfer domain, you can email your domain registrar for the step by step method.

Thanks for your reply. Here are the information you requested.

    1) NameCheap
    2) There is still a number of months left before domain expires.
    3) Not sure yet
    4) I advertised it on the forum and somebody requested to buy it.

    Hope this is enough information.
