First off I want to say that i am new to the forums. I also want to say that I am not a programmer but am not completely tech stupid.

I have been in the information overload stage for the last couple months(I know I just need to pull the trigger)about which ecommerce software to go with:confused:. I started a store with prostores, added a few products and then checked out how it looked. I was not very impressed at all. Most if not all of the templates that applied to my niche seemed outdated.

This brings me to my question. I am looking for the best software solution where the out of the box templates actually look like a place I would shop.I want to be able to simply be able to add company logo at the top and customize the look and feel of a few other visual items without any programming. These three seem to fit the build and are in order of my preference so far.
    -Volusion
    -Magento
    -Zencart

Does anyone have any concerns suggestions or comments on these three.

Please feel free to mention carts that I have not noted.

    Thank you for any comments:D

Please try the Open Source OSCommerce Solution. I recommend this script to all of my clients and i dare say that all are over the moon with the results that OSCommerce is delivering.

It has a wide variety of features and accepts basically any payment method [from PayPal to MasterCard]

Heres the link to their site...don't forget to check out the demos of both the administration panel and the store look

    Link: oscommerce.com

I agree that many of the oscommerce shops look very good, but how easily are they to configure and make look this good without any programming skills? I am talking simple things like adding logo at top of page?
