Hi, After spending 4 days waiting for a programmer (I think programmer) to do a script for me. The script is suppose to pull data from Google searches per month Using https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and get the results online. The script/bot would pull data. the person I hired to write the script, tells me now that he can't do it. Is there a way to do that and please advise how complex it is or time consuming. I paid the programmer an upfront 15% fee and have been waiting 4 days, just to find out the guy can't do it via PM today. Advice?
Google has systems in place to disallow bots , so when you do a large number of queries they will just ban your ip ( Ive faced it before ). Also the page you are scraping requires a captcha , maybe the programmer you hired could not break the captcha.
Oh thanks for the reply, yes the person I hired could not break it. However there's a google API for it. But the problem is its paid per usage and I am offering it for free so (er, not a wise choice, when I am giving it out for free, and google charges me paid per usage). So looks like it wont be implimented. Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it.
