I have a wireless router (linksys WRT54G v5) and it has been great up until recently. I have now lost the ability to log into cpanel on my sites on port 2082. I started having the problem when I tried to configure certain ports to allow me to use my FTP (and I got that problem fixed, but then this one reared up). I thought this may have been a problem with my ISP or Host but looks like everyone else can connect to the site in question with no problems, while I have to refresh 10-15x just to get a half loaded login page. I may have done something wrong (though I thought it may have been right because it no longer disconnected my FTP client). I used port ranges and opened up 21 and 6000-6100 (for my FTP) and forwards from 21 to 6000-6100. Any Suggestions? Anyone else ever have this problem before?
I asked people to try and sign in on their pc (or atleast get to the login screen) and they seemed to have no problems... I am using Hostgator (hatchling) currently for the blog in question, and it is the only major site on that hosting plan. The cpanel link is here. In another post it was suggested for me to try openDNS, signed up through that but didn't really understand how it could help me. heh. Does anyone here have problems logging into the cpanel screen with the link provided? :| I just asked a few people on MSN and each of them had 0 problems, and they went to the link a few times.
