I have found few ebooks/scripts with resale rights and would like to sell them in Dp. I want to know how should i proceed with it. First i will have to give review copies. How many review copies should suffice?? How should i make the transaction. First accept the cash and then give the ebook/script. or first give the ebbok/script and then take the cash(I hope i get the cash, hehe) Thanks
First of all, what are the ebooks that you are selling? Have you done any research to see if there is a market for your ebooks? To be perfectly honest, the ebook market has been over saturated. Other DP members are selling thousands of ebooks for peanuts....how do you compete with that? If I were you I would look elsewhere to sell your ebooks....and chances are that most DP members have already got it or read it!
Don't be talked out of it so easily. You may have something that everyone else does not. Some people will not want you here because you are interfering in their sales and will try to force you off. I usually give 2 reviews. I like to give the first people who log on the chance to do the review but you may want to give the reviews to someone with more posts or itrades. Get your cash first and then send the product. The best way is to have a website where that they can buy it right there and get their download. Having to collect your money and send the product by email can be a real hassle and it also takes a lot of tme. I have done it both ways myself. If it is something completely new I start out by selling it the hard way just see if anyone is interested. If there is a lot of interest you can still make a webpage by editing your post.
