    Hi guys,

I am facing new problem from last few months. My modem drivers are installed but, when i restart my pc, new hardware wizard starts to install modem drivers again. When i unplug and replug my modem wire, it starts working.

My friend also got this problem, when he restarts his pc, his mouse(with wire<ps/2>) gets detected.

    any solution?

That happened to me once. After exhausting myself with trying out different solutions to resolve the problem, I ended up formatting and re-installing the OS. Some system drivers got corrupted somehow so re-installing solved it. It may not be your case though.

Uninstall your modem drivers, delete all related registry entries, and start again. If that doesn't work, buy an Atari.

they are 100% corrupted, this means you've instaled them with antivirus or similar program running or those were just corrupted drivers by themself.

Go in safe mode and uninstall the drivers, restart!
Then install your drivers again without background programs running!

    for that:
just right click on your mycomputer, and go to properites!
there click on the hardware tab, then device manager, and after that update the drivers, just provide the os cd or the driver cd if required.
    this will fix the problem!:)
