I am thinking about Registering my Hosting Company FTNHosting Which I have been running for the past year for a LLC I live in Michigan

The thing is I am totally Confused go about it.

I have been looking for companies to do it online with but I don't know if some of them are Trustful or not.

If you have registered a LLC through a online company could you please tell me the company's name or even a link would be great. And if Possible tell me how much it ended up costing you.

Filing an LLC is (in most states) easy and can be done without going through a third party. The link is to the Michigan government website with info about filing for an LLC. In most states it's just a 1 page form & send in payment to the gov't.

Note: I am not a lawyer. Do your due diligence and research before proceeding. There may or may not be tax implications (good or bad) or annual fees in your state. (The Michigan site more confusing than my state)

Can you expound on why it is important to register your company as an LLC?

I am too new here to post links, but I know a reputable company that will file an LLC for you for free. They are having a special right now. PM me and I will send you the link.

But make sure that you really do want an LLC. I don't know about Michigan but in California they are taxes heavily.

That is why I am just thinking about it I am wanting to find some LLC Registrants with good rep that I could take a look at and contact to see if it would be a good idea to register a LLC and if it would be cost Effective or not for me to do it since I can write off my Losses and Expenses. Like I said I am still confused about this and probably won't register for a while or until the IRS goes after me.
