    Hello Members,

I need help regarding one of my SEO project.

One of my website is ranking well for certain keywords as listed below with a number of global searches and current rank.

    Best virtual server
    Google Rank – 6
    Monthly searches – 2400

    Dedicated virtual private server
    Google Rank – 6
    Monthly searches – 6600

    Linux virtual private server
    Google Rank – 2
    Monthly searches – 1000

My website is ranking well for these keywords, but still not getting the number of searches even 10% of the monthly searches. I am worried what is happening and why.

Can any one suggest me where I am wrong and what should I do to get a decent number of searches.

Please don’t tell me to do link-building I am already doing it on a regular basis that is why my website is ranking. I think somewhere I have chosen wrong keyword strategy. If someone guide me and help me out from this situation I will be grateful for him/her.

    Thanks in advance.

Title and Meta content also plays an very important role in CTR. Hope you understand next that why people do not click on your website results even you are on TOP.

Another thing to keep in mind is that for some keywords, people find what they are looking for in the top 2-3 results. When that happens, few people will check the other results.

In your case, you have done keyword research with the 'Broad' setting in the Google AdWords Keyword Tool. This will include all overlapping keywords. If you switch to 'Exact' you will see that much fewer people are searching for those specific keywords.
