Dear all, i have bought IPB forums license. after i installed it it is showing like license will expire after 6months. i bought the license right why it will expire after 6months.so should i need to renewal it for every 6months..? but if we buy Vbulleting license we no need to renewal it again and again as that is life time license. if i didn't renewal the IPB license what will happen..? Please try to reply me thanks.
did you buy from Invision Power Services, Inc. OR from someone else ! if you do not renew then you will not get official support & future upgrade(s)

You can still freely use the forum software but you will not have access to support nor upgrades. It's the same with vBulletin, it is not lifetime, it is only "lifetime" for that version, for example the current "4" series but when the "5" series is released it will no longer be lifetime and you will need to upgrade your license.
