One of my websites is PR2 entertainment site

I want to completely change the form of the site to make it a forum site

The homepage is cynia.net/news.php but the links when i SEO'd Were pointing cynia.net

Will i lose my rank if i move to change the homepage to something like cynia.net/forums ???

If you properly 301 redirect it the answer is no. Redirect all the web pages to their new ones, this will transfer owner link juice and Pagerank. You may however see a slight temporary drop in search results, but they will return in a short period of time.

With apache web server (linux hosting) you can use the .htaccess file to 301 redirect old URLs to new URLs. Give me an example of an old and new URL and I'll give you the code to insert.
