Moving to php won't change the way you design the look of your site, you will still use html and css - it just makes things a bit simpler.

I recommended using Wordpress for the backend. You install your custom/old theme on it and then it's simple to add/edit pages and footer instead of using the php file itself.

No need to get complicated and reinvent the wheel. Your layout and content lends itself easily to wordpress

If you need dynamic content, php is the way to go.. or if it's just a simple web site, no need to store information into a data base, then stay simple ;)

Don't bother with PHP. A simple site like yours doesn't need it. Redesign it using xHTML/CSS and you should be fine.

i think you should visit related websites for better inspiration and you may design on wide width and with some designed logo, not only text, if you like text as a logo so you should go through typography for this purpose, many collection available on web....you may use xHTML/CSS if you can, because this will fulfill your SEO needs as well, so you need some hard work for your own business friend....keep think about these of all suggestions.

I have a small site too, but I use php for my menu and include my content pages, makes it easier to manage. Imagine you want to change the logo: then you have to change every page again. If you use PHP you only have to make one change (if done right).

Go with wordpress. There are many themes available. If you don't want to do that then get a nice company banner to replace that text, get rid of that horrible image that doesn't fit in at all. And make some new buttons for navigation.
