Hello, I am an experienced internet marketer in other niches, but I have no experience in this niche whatsoever. I'm not interested in it, and I do not know too much about it -- just the basics. The sheer saturation of the market tells me not to get involved so . . . So, why am I asking? Well it seems my Dad caught wind of affiliate marketing and blindly "purchased" his way into an affiliate program without my guidance. Yeah, I know he got snowed, but I told him not to do anything before he consulted me. He did it anyway, so he is out $30 bucks so far. Can't say he got scammed per se, but it's stupid he actually paid for information on how to become an affiliate of this product -- one he knows absolutely nothing about or anything! I think he believed it would just work for itself automatically. Anyway, he knows absolutely nothing - ZERO - about the niche and impulse bought this ridiculous program. All I want to do is make like 2 sales so he gets his money back -- naturally, refunds are only within 2 days. PPC seems to be the best way to go, but after some marketing and keyword research, it seems this market is way too saturated to penetrate. Like I said, this is NOT my niche, i've kind of inherited it. I can market other things fine, I just would like any tips, hints, strategies any of you in this niche may be willing to share. Are people actually buying into these membership sites? Does Article Marketing Work in this niche? Keywords seem tough, any suggestions? Etc. Any help would make me eternally grateful.
