Need help promoting a site

Im looking for a little help or some sugestions on promoting a new forum, its the website in my signature below i have made this forum just for a bit of fun. Im not looking to make any cash with this site but would like it to be active, as im not looking to make anything with this sit PPC etc is out for promoting, if anyone has any ideas pleas let me no.

Write some articles based on your forum topics.
Join other forums and create a signature promoting your forum
Leave comments on other blogs
Create some mini sites promoting your forum.

 

Article marketing can be very powerful and you can build great backlinks in the process.

How about doing a Camtasia video to show why people will benefit from joining your forum. Some free digital stuff away. If you don't have, post in any forum and ask people to contribute.

do you actually know about black hat or not at all ?
If you know anything about black hat, you must at least know ways to promtoe your own forum... right?

ESPECIALLY if you use black hat methods...

no offense.. but I am not sure about what purpose you have to promote a blackhat forum if you dont know about white hat marketing...

 

This is awesome. Like those gurus who sell make money online ebooks, but ask someone how to promote their website or ebook.

 

You can use social networking sites to promote your website, there is a new bebo style site for hobbies here in Ireland called Hobeze.com. You can also promote it by creating a good youtube video and post it on several video site e.g Metacafe , Megavideo,Dailymotion.
You could write articles about it in sites like Associated Content etc. , or you could submit it to reiew sites, ask a blog to review it. If you are doing premium memberships then you could offer incentives like t-shirts with your logo on it or other mercahndise from Spreadshirt or Cafepress

Create a buzz, maybe hold a contest or something like that.

 

I would say the most appropriate way to market a blackhat site, would be to spam. Spam BlackHatWorld. There is some poetic justice.

 

Try using a link exchange program.. there are money out there that claim to work. Also try posting some videos on youtube?

 

How about using some "black hat stuff"?

I don't want to discourage you but with a domain name like blackhatstuff & the kind of content that would go there, it would be difficult to get organic traffic from Search engines... Search engines usually frown anything remotely related to Black Stuff...
