Ping the page using a service like Pingomatic.com.

Google doesn't have to use your description tag as your 'snippet' and often doesn't. Your description is a bit short - making it longer may help.

I strongly suggest you put more keywords on site description :) The content of the meta description is also important for gaining attention and promoting more click-throughs, since the meta description is often displayed as the search results 'snippet'. Using pinging tools like blogbaster would help you with this dilemma.

use a relevant meta description tag for the page. if not, then use 3-4 lines of relevant text in the starting of the body tag. the meta description and starting body tag should contain the keywords being targeted by you for the page

Many bloggy-type sites struggle with this.

A blog is designed to change the content of your home page frequently, right? You will see better results if you add a bit of static text to your right bar. Something like "Keyworded blah blah about this site and then some more..." It will fit well under your links section or if you can write a really good welcome message, it can go on top.

I don't understand this thing about your H1 tag... where is it? eh? I can see it on the source code but cannot see in the browser. Is it some kinda trick?

This text bit on your logo - cut it off and add it as a real text. Google cannot read that MovieFox is "Your Source for Best Quality Movies". It cannot read gifs!

I agree with guys about you meta.
