    Hello,
My Domain is on Godaddy within 60day lock so it is not possible to transfer it on Hostgator. Is it possible to host my files on Hostgator but the domain remain on Godaddy via Pointing Hostgator Nameservers to Godaddy.
Please tell me whole Process regarding that.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hello there,

Yes, this is definitely possible. You would need to log into your Godaddy account and change your domain name to use the HostGator supplied name servers. Once you log in, go to Manage Domains, click on your domain name, then in the top menu bar, look for NameServers, and click on it.

Yes, you would need the domain to have an account on HostGator's servers. Once you have added the domain, and the nameservers are setup to point to the HG server, your domain should start resolving within a few hours.

    1. Change the name server of your domain name from godaddy to the dns of host gator.

    2. You need to add a domain name in your hostgator account and create ftp account and upload files to it. when you create a domain name it automatically connects to it and if you have set the proper dns then your website will be live

    3. Also it may take some time for DNS to propogate like 1 or 2 days.
