Need help optimizing website load time!

    Compress the images...they are HUGE..
    just search on google for "image compression" or "image optimize"

    You might want to use image sprites for your navigation and drop all that dreamweaver preloading and onmouseover javascript code. Most of what it is doing can be done using CSS like the rollovers. If you are using Photoshop, export out your JPEGs at no higher than 65%.

    wow 250kb for the image and about 100kb for background, I think you should save your images within photoshop under 6

    that will reduce the size of image about 50%

    It looks like it's loading nicely on my cpu. One tip though, you should really add a blog so people can participate in conversations at your site.
