need help on torrents

    hi dpers

    i want to know some faq on torrents.

    1) do the torrent i upload get donwloaded from my pc later if someone download it

    2)if yes,then what happen if my pc is off...will i lose it on that..will it consume my bandwidth for outgoing connection

    3)my ip is dynamic so cant i forward my port in router?..how can i set it via firewall

    4)can this be done via ftp also?

    instead of own bandwidth?

    please help me urgent

    1) if you upload it somewhere and you leech it.. then yeah, the content will get uploaded from your computer
    2) if your computer goes off, then the leech source from your computer does get hindered.
    3) no idea :D
    4) no. FTP and torrenting is different. I think

    the thing i am not getting is ...will the file for which i have uploaded my torrent will get loaded from my pc only if someone download a torrent...

    secondly if my pc is off then how peers get it through my pc...(i require it for torrent seeding)

    does this mean i have to keep my pc on always? since there is no uploaded space other then my pc only...as torrents search engine like piratebay only act as a tracker not file savers

    what about port forwarding thing:(

    U don't need to keep your PC ON if few others downloaded the torrents,they help in seeding.

    hey, can you please download a torrent for me please :( my ip is dynamic ( VPN ) so I cant use torrent clients.
    I really love a movie, I missed the last bits of movie, can you please download it and upload on rapidshare please??
    the name is " Now You see it" its disney channel original movie ( starting Alyson michalka)

    configure your ip to static one...me too dont have mb's of speed lolz....

    try this to have static ip:)...i dont know for vpn we can do or not exactly

    um..I dont have money to buy hostings, I already have 3 hostings, hostgator, servage and mycoolworld's

    and that guide for static ip doesnt work for me, as I have to "CONNECT" to internet VIA a VPN dialer
