Im looking for advice on how to get ranking up on the keyword mmorpg. I just recently started on my website and im sure i have alot of work infront of me. I figure i would target that one specific keyword since that is what my site is based around. Any good tips from the guru's out there on how to target one specific keyword?

Use this Word as your Anchor in building links and write a good description using the word again. I am sure if you do good enough link building - it will help you no end.

Link building, just like they said above. If you don't already have it, install the google toolbar, and start trying to get links with anchor text "mmorpg" from higher page rank sites. (Google page rank is not the only way to judge how important a link is, but it is a goog indicator.)

Getting inbound links with the 'MMORPG' is the most important step but you may not beat your competitors especially if your site is new. You may want to target at a lesser competitive keyword at the moment: free mmorpg, free online mmorpg etc.

Whatever you choose, include the keywords in your title, Meta, header tags. You may want to check out my Free SEO site if you need specific materials to refer to :)

Links .. um did I forget to say links? Oh and use the keyword term within your content, but don't make your content sound spammy!

Like KC Tan mentioned, Title tags and header tags. Also Hyperlink your keyworded header texts. And then good anchor links. Check up google bombing on google and make that to good use... :)
