Need help on one way link!

    I have two property sites, one with a PR7 and the other PR3

    Another property portal site with a PR6 has about 2000 of my properties on their site which I get about 800 click throughs / month (for my PR7 site).

    Its been a free service todate. They have offered to do a recipricol link exchange with my PR3 site in return for a one way link from my PR7 site.

    Will this have any major effects on my PR7 site?

    Depends who your friend is linking to besides your site. If they are linking to a bad neighborhood they could tank your rankings if you link to them. Sounds like they are trying to game you for a pr 7 link IMO, and they want to triangulate the links so it looks like you are linking to their site from your pr 7 site one way. I would be wary that they are trying to take advantage of you.

    Reciprocal linking is a useful technique, but in this case I have to wonder about your partners motives here... why wouldn't they link to your more established pr 7 site rather than the pr 3 site if they were trying to provide value to their website visitors?
