Hi, I bought a VPS working on Linux, and I have really no clue how to work with it. Could anybody help me out, or give me some guide or something? The server's control panel is Webmin. I've already put up some files, but when I go to the IP it still says "Index of /", instead of showing the index.php! Also when I try to import a SQL file, it says "No Data". And I've got no idea how to transfer my domain to the server/host, though I've got some Auth-ID and DNS things... So if anyone could help me with it, it'd be great! Thanks in advanced, Skyfe.
You'll need to configure Apache - you're lucky to have Webmin preinstalled. Set up a site in Apache (read Webmin documentation for this.) doxfer.com/Webmin Creating sites is easy in apache. MySQL also needs to be set up and the process started
Ah thanks, well, I've just figured out some things, so I've now managed to upload my files and import the SQL. So everything is working fine now. Only got to transfer the domain from my previous host to this one yet... With DNS or something.
